The Great Bike Ride is one of Perth’s most popular annual community participation cycling events. As the sponsor for the website, Intertec is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the Great Bike Ride website.

This year we completely revamped the existing website including the ‘look and feel’ and site content. Once again we chose WordPress as the preferred development platform due to its wide range of customisable themes and ease-of-use for content management.

Outcomes

The new website features a fresh, new design, including enhanced visibility for features such as event registration, donation and volunteering. The site has a contemporary look and feel, with a clean and polished interface that allows visitors to quickly and easily find information about the event. As part of our WordPress site development package, we provided a short training session to the organisers of the event so they could manage on-going content updates using WordPress CMS.

We are confident that the site enhancements will play an important role in assisting the event organisers to raise their target funds of $250,000 for charity this year.
