Intertec were commissioned by the WMC Exploration Division to design and develop OMS, a strategic web-based Intranet application that allows the group to more effectively and efficiently manage exploration opportunities. OMS is used to manage and gate opportunities and is modelled on the groups business decision making process.
The commercial sensitivity and confidentiality of the information in OMS means that the application is not accessible by the general public.

Intertec has developed a long-term business relationship with WMC that stemmed from the successful provision of administration and support services for the WMC corporate Intranet and the development of the groups Safety Intranet web site.

GDD II is a central repository of the metallic mineral deposits currently tracked by WMC's Exploration Division. GDD II provides a comprehensive recording of each deposit along with its age, size, grade and remaining potential.

COSOL sales planning tool
Intertec Consulting recently completed the development of a sales planning tool for global mining consultancy, COSOL. The COSOL Sales Planning Tool (SPT) allows key sales and business development staff to plan, schedule and act on sales opportunities.
Incorporating advanced functions, including the ability to export opportunities and to alert sales teams in regards to opportunity updates via email, the SPT has been critical in streamlining COSOL sales planning activities, effectively maximising efficiencies in the sales teams communication and operations.
