shire of peppermint grove website design
The Shire of Peppermint Grove, one of WA’s most prestigious local governments, recently commissioned Intertec Consulting to completely revamp their website. We undertook an analysis of their existing site and proposed a new design and structure which reflected the Shire’s vision for their new site and its application. The new design gave the site a fresh and contemporary feel, whilst also acknowledging the Shire’s historical and traditional ties.
Taking into consideration their target audience, information deployment needs and internal skills base, we designed and constructed a site which provided a user-friendly interface and navigation to a wealth of information. Intertec also provided training and support to the Shire’s staff in regards to content maintenance for the website.

Secure Server Solutions, a provider of server storage and security solutions, commissioned Intertec to design and develop their website. With offices in Australia and South Africa, Secure Server Solutions required a website that would give them both global and regional presences.
Intertec designed a site which conveyed the company’s position as a provider of a unique and cutting edge solution to the ICT industry, and promoted its product and services through the use of online brochures and technical specifications designed by our creative team. Our copywriters developed content for the site and brochure. We also implemented an online registration process by which visitors can register to received electronic newsletters from Secure Server Solutions.

Intertec’s web design and development team recently concluded the design and construction of the Rio Tinto Iron Ore website. The site, developed and deployed using the RedDot Content Management System (CMS), is the first for Rio Tinto Iron Ore, and draws together information and external relations communication from a host of different Iron Ore business units under the banner of a fresh, new website. The development of this very substantial website sees our continued blending of innovative conceptual design with the more pragmatic considerations of the CMS’s interface, resulting in a visually appealing site which foregrounds Rio Tinto Iron Ore’s identity as a world class supplier of iron ore products.
As part of our work on the Rio Tinto Iron Ore website, we were also commissioned to developed a microsite for the group’s Pilbara-based communities. Called Infrastructure Central, this site made use of web forms within RedDot to enable communication between community stakeholders and Rio Tinto Iron Ore’s Pilbara operations.
Content for the website was developed by our team of experienced copywriters, who rose to the challenge of weaving a large quantity of source material from a diverse range of sources into cohesive copy for the entire site.

Key challenges in designing and constructing the website lay in creating a design that visually conveyed concepts of style, status and sophistication associated with the Rio Tinto Diamonds brand, while maintaining the website's fit with the requirements of the CMS and Rio Tinto’s corporate style and branding. Intertec’s copy writing team were active in developing content for the website to highlight Rio Tinto Diamonds’ position as a world leader in the sale of rough diamonds.

Intertec has recently undertaken a revamp of the City of Perth Great Bike Ride web site as part of our ongoing support of this annual event. The new site features a fresh, new design, including enhanced visibility for features such as registration, donation and volunteering.
The new site has a clean and polished look and feel, with an interface that allows visitors to quickly and easily find what they are looking for on the site. The City of Perth Great Bike Ride event is a mass participation community cycle tour around the river, from Perth to Fremantle and return. The Great Bike Ride is open to everyone, from novices to elite riders and corporate teams.

The web site presents visitors with an overview of the company, its diamond products, diamond-mining operations, sales and community participation. Intertec developed the TimePro web site to sell & market TimePro as well as provide a universal entry point for our customers to access the hosted (ASP) online service.
Site content includes everything from product literature to technical support information about TimePro. There is also an electronic shopping cart to enable customers to subscribe and pay for the service via the Internet.
